Christy is the Legal Manager and transactor at AttAfrica Limited, playing an integral role in deal-making and driving the acquisition of properties across mandated territories on the African continent (outside of South Africa).  She also plays a key role in the management of the portfolio companies which run the various commercial properties acquired by AttAfrica.

Christy qualified as an attorney at Webber Wentzel Attorneys, a leading law firm in Africa, working in the Africa Team: Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions.  She worked on private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions as well as general corporate work on behalf of clients in South Africa, Angola, Tanzania, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tunisia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.



Hannatjie joined AttAfrica in September of 2015 as an asset manager after managing a wide range of South African and Zambian assets for Heriot Properties. Her wide range of experience includes South Africa, Zambia and various buildings in Fish Hoek, Mowbray, Athlone and Sea Point in Cape Town as well as industrial parks and offices in Gauteng. Hannatjie is a performance driven, hard worker coming from a solid background in property management where she started at Gensec (known as JHI properties today) where she made a name for herself. Hannatjie oversees a strong team of individuals who all share a common passion for Africa.

Francois has joined AttAfrica as the lead in operations management for the African portfolio commencing on the 1st July 2015. Francois completed four years apprenticeship in 1984 to qualify as a plumber, welder and sheet metal worker. He was appointed as a plumber for two years at SAR & H. For the next three years he continued as a plumber at the National Intelligence Service whom are a facilities management company in South Africa. Thereafter, he continued at the National Intelligence Agency for 21 years with a promotion to works inspector and facilities manager. Francois for the next two years endeavoured to be the facility manager at the Blue Bulls Company at Loftus Versfeld His previous position was the national operations manager for property management group Broll. In total, he has 33 years expertise in the facilities, operations and building maintenance industry.


DC Kemp
Financial Manager

DC Kemp joined the AttAfrica team in May of 2016 after working at Deloitte for several years in Audit, Risk Advisory and Consulting. Born and raised in Pretoria, DC has a passion for golf, rugby, hunting and reading. He completed his degree in BCom Accounting at the University of Pretoria in 2008 after which he did his articles at Deloitte and qualified as a CA(SA). After his articles he spent time in Canada working in audit before coming home to South Africa to return to Deloitte Risk Advisory. DC is not your typical accountant, he is a well-rounded individual with an inquisitive personality and a lust for life and a passion for the African economy and the property industry.
